Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the U.S. Embassy has implemented safety precautions to protect our staff and the public. As a result, U.S. Embassy Havana has suspended all routine passport processing until further notice.
Under normal operations, Embassy Havana accepts passport applications and forwards them to the United States for processing. A passport, once approved, normally arrives at the Embassy and is ready for pick-up within 15 to 21 working days. To make an appointment for services in Havana, you may do so directly via our online appointment system. If you are unable to utilize our online system or need help with your existing booking, please contact the American Citizens Services Unit by email at firstname.lastname@example.org for further assistance.
Lost or Stolen Passport
In the unfortunate event that you have had your passport stolen, or it was lost while you are in Cuba, the American Citizens Services Unit can assist you in getting a new travel document. Please visit our lost or stolen passport page.
