Notarial Services

Notarizing officers in the American Citizens Services Unit can provide assistance similar to the functions of a notary public in the United States.  Officers can also authenticate documents notarized by Cuban notaries for use in the United States.

To make an appointment for services in Havana, please contact the American Citizens Services Unit via email at or by phone at (+53) 7839-4100.

  3. $50 USD per notary seal. Payment must be made in U.S. dollars (USD).
  4. If your document needs to be witnessed, you must arrange your own witnesses and each must bring a valid photo ID. Consular Officers cannot serve as witnesses.
