Local Resources for U.S. Citizens

Please note: The Department of State assumes no responsibility or liability for the professional ability or reputation of, or the quality of services provided by, the entities or individuals whose names appear on the following lists. Inclusion on this list is in no way an endorsement by the Department or the U.S. government. Names are listed alphabetically, and the order in which they appear has no other significance. The information on the list is provided directly by the local service providers; the Department is not in a position to vouch for such information.

The American Citizens Services Unit strongly encourages all U.S. citizens residing in Cuba to register with the Embassy using STEP, by coming into the office during normal business hours, or by calling (+53) 7839-4100.  We will use this contact information to help locate U.S. citizens in the event of an emergency or to send important health, safety, or emergency information relating to Cuba.

We also encourage U.S. citizens residing in Cuba to consider volunteering to be a U.S. Citizen Warden.  U.S. Citizen Wardens serve to disseminate emergency messages to other U.S. citizens living near them.  Please contact our office if you are interested in learning more about the U.S. Citizen Warden program.
