Promoting English Language Teaching & Learning among the Cuban people is one of the primary objectives of the U.S. Embassy’s Public Affairs Office, as we know that English language skills are necessary to compete in today’s global market. In this section, you will find tools to help you learn English and better understand the United States, from its customs to its history and values. These resources are available online and also in our America Center.
Digital English Days
English teachers and learners can sign up to participate in orientation sessions at the American Centers to learn about the many tools available online that can help them succeed. Participants also have access to English language teaching and learning resources from the America Center library.

English teachers and learners can request a copy of a compilation of digital resources downloaded from the American English website available at the Embassy’s American Center.
Forum Magazine
English Teaching Forum is a quarterly journal supporting the teaching of English around the world through the publication of innovative, practical ideas. It is published by the U.S. Department of State. Over 60,000 copies of the magazine are distributed in more than 100 countries. Most of the authors published in English Teaching Forum are classroom teachers.
We distribute digital copies of English Teaching Forum upon request through the Embassy’s American Center.
